New Top 5 movies in Tamil

1. Singam Puli: The film has been doing a good business right from the opening weekend. Jeeva’s stunning double actor as hero and villain and Sai Ramani’s commercial ingredients savoring to the tastes of audiences. With a song deleted in second half for the sake of trimming down the duration, the film has been witnessing more crowds in theaters.


2. Payanam: Director Radha Mohan has stepped out of his comfort zone and has made an action packed drama but more with situational comedies. The film makes you sit in theatres till the last name that rolls in final credits. The film holds special mention for best characterization.


3. Seedan: The film had an average opening but is running with some moderate shows as there aren’t any worthy competitors. Dhanush’s extended cameo is the major highlight. Subramaniam Siva has remade the Malayalam movie ‘Nandanam’ with some slight changes.


4. Yuddham Sei: Filmmaker Mysskin has been always fond of making movies that are centered on harassment and this time he comes up with a shocking theory of ‘Voyeurism’. The film has some commendable performance by Cheran and Jayaprakash.


5. Kaavalan: Vijay’s fans have a special surprise here. Unlike his some of his previous movies, he has chosen to play a romantic role in this movie. A remake of Malayalam movie ‘Bodyguard’, Siddique has made the film with a trenchant style.
