Happy Birthday To Mega Star Chiranjeevi

Megastar Chiranjeevi is celebrating his Birthday today [22nd August]. He turns 56. The actor

needs no introduction in Telugu cinema. He is one of the biggest icon and inspiration to many

young actors of today’s generation.

Chiranjeevi, who was born on 1955, entered the films with Punadhi Rallu. Affectionately called

as Chiru by his fans and admirers, Chiranjeevi ruled Tollywood for over three decades and

redefined the word of Heroism. Chiru’s natural acting, his expressions, perfect dialogue

modulations, graceful dance moves reached the audience right way in making him the numero-

uno star in Telugu film industry.

Chiranjeevi earned many awards and rewards during his career. He was conferred with

Padma Bhushan by the Govt of India in the year 2006 and has won 5 Nandi awards. After

enjoying stardom in Tollywood for decades, Chiru has ventured into politics in 2008 August.

However, he did not get the desirable results and finally he merged his Praja Rajyam Party with

Congress. Chiranjeevi has so far acted in 149 films and the latest reports say the Megastar is

planning to return to silver-screens to complete his 150th movie.  Let’s hope Chiranjeevi makes

his comeback to films shortly.
